The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue 27 (End of Line)

I admit I haven't been blogging much and I'm tired of promising to blog more to nonexistent readers. As it is only one person has expressed any interest in another post [Aunt Pat].

Blogging takes time and until a few days ago,it was something I didn't have. But what's the point when all readers who used to be around squander it on Facebook?

That is why I've pulled the plug until I'm told otherwise by more than just one. But no this does not mean I'm switching to Facebook that is a badge of honor I will not relinquish and if you dare start an account behind my back I will make sure to kill it.

But I leave you with these thoughts

1. Snow caves are fun,if you have the patience,and warm water-proof clothes and a shovel go for it. It will do more than a car in a snowstorm and it's like carving out your own bedroom.

2.The new Karate Kid is awesome,watch it when you can,you will not regret it. I did not

3. Keep everything in moderation including the idea of keeping everything in moderation

4. Irn Bru is quite tasty, 2 years later and I still relish the opportunity to drink it

5.Maybe I will not get too bad a case of senioritis next year now that I've got one year til' graduation and less than a year til' I'm a legit adult

It's been 2 years since I started and it's been through 4 template changes including this new one. It was a fun run and I'll miss it but I'm cutting my losses and saving my time. In doing so I promise one last thing. I will not delete this blog so it will be available to read over and over and over and.............. well you get the point

The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue 26

The 26th Weekend post on the 26th of December right after good ol' Christmas

Well at least that's what it should've been the problem was most of the charm around these parts was lacking. On Christmas Eve instead of going to Grandma's or Uncle John's and hanging out with the cousins (We switch sides every now and then) and having agrand time chatting catching up and playing games something else happened

Oh instead we went over to Grandma's and um......did nothing!! Mom and Grandma spent the whole day compiling family history booklets for everyone,I admit I like the content and the idea but c'mon that's just no way to spend a Christmas Eve and what's worse I asked if I could do something and it seemed like they had everything well done by themselves.In the end it seemed like the day was gonna be a trade off between Asm and me for the computer since there were no relatives around. The 2 good things however were the dinner [Thanksgiving leftovers] and one game with Aunt Jan

Yesterday being Christmas was a nice little get-together with Uncle John and his daughters for a nice brunch and then in the afternoon we went back to Grandma's except this time I thought of playing games with Aunt Jan earlier and brought a book just in case.After all of that booklet mubo jumbo was done we had a gift exchange in which I got some fudge and a pillow while I gave Grandma and Aunt Jan two of my artworks (A clay box and a clay pencil holder I just hope Aunt Pat doesn't hate my sculpture and while I'm at it I hope all the gifts I gave are appreciated)

For christmas I got

A new video game system with 4 new games and controllers
A wallet
A book
Clothes
Gift Cards
Candies
A DVD collection of Tim Burton's and Joel Schumacher's Batman series [which I'll probably review shortly]
Checks

I hope on Monday to go skiing up at Sugar Bowl [which I did last year]

And finally as far as new years resolutions go,I think last years still apply

The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue 25

Fear not my loyal readers,I am back.

Now that the Cross Country season is over,I have more time on hand.I only wish the season went out with a Bang or whimper as opposed to a "What the heck was that?!".Seriously the guys running it didn't plan it that last race well.In the end it ended up being a race on a weird course, in the rain, on a slant favoring the mud puddles and a bad start for everyone. All this increased the amount of everyone's time by at least 4 minutes. Oh well the rest of the season was good

School ain't as great as it was last post,but hey at least Pottery class offers mild relief. (I've got a pencil box in my room,a mug-like centerpiece at the table,a box in the living room,and a sculpture at the schools gallery,be nice and you might get something for Christmas cousins)

I've also come to the conclusion that Dark Knight is vastly overrated,and that Heath Ledger is not Joker enough (at least not like the 1989 Joker).Those Tim Burton films are really quite something.

School This Year: Pro or Con

Well I've now been in school for 2 weeks.I can definitely say it's been better than last year.I'm finally awake for all of seminary (as opposed to almost none 2 years ago,and parts last year).No doldrums class for once [at least not so far] and I'm at last on top of things,mostly. (My room could be a bit cleaner)

On the other hand the hardest Freshman class was easier than the easiest Junior class and it's not like I can slack off without worry.

I also just got started on Peter and the Starcatchers which is of course a fanfic (and yes I do use the word fanfic to describe it) prequel to Peter Pan.So far so good but I'm afraid it's just not Sisters Grimm or Fablehaven oh well I guess you can't have everything.

I can't promise anything but I shall try to make a post next week,or maybe ressurect the Weekend Edition.Stay tuned

First Post in Ages

Well for now I'm back,for now.This is the last week before I must get serious on that hell-hole they call School.

I finally got to see Miyazaki's newest film Ponyo.Awesome fil of course I haven't found one Miyazaki film not to be awesome. Whether it be Castle in the Sky,Princess Mononoke,Spirited Away,or Kiki's Delivery Service. Yes I Disney dubbed them all,but since they were written and hand drawn and not made originally Disney,they don't count as part of the dreaded D's films. What can I say,I can't stand how unbelieveably sappy Disney films are.

I also found out the hard way,that even the gentlest looking curves in the Berkeley Hills can be treacherous (I've got gause and bandages all over my left side to proove that). Note to self never trust streets with English names [Sterling,Whitaker,Miller,Stevenson,nope casn't be trusted].

Can't wait for the Scottish Gathering and Games next weekend [mmm Irn Bru,Meat Pies,and Mars Bars that's the true meal for the American turned Briton for one day,I just hope the Kilt selection is better].

That's right,El Daddy-O has left the nest for a 2 week music-thang all the way in Italy. Asm up at girls camp

So far I haven't done much of anything except take maybe a walk.I've mostly just been playin' video games and catching up my Psych.(Good show it is)
Maybe one of these days I can find that bathing suit and get out of the house.

Well I guess that's about it til' something good and excitin' happens oh well since this is boring in itself I'll do the ol' Cambridge University trick and see if I can still be read right now. And see if people really can read this so long as the first and last letters are the same.

Yet Another Title of No Meaning

Well guys,I'm back from from my family's *Triennial* Colter Family Reunion!

Ok first I got up at 3 in the mornin',now normally I'd be complaining but well I'm still on seminary time. After that,it was a 7 hour car ride down to Irvine,but thankfully I had my MP3 player with an audio book on it (The book being called Pillage it's good book but I'm not getting into the details,after all I can review it). So Ma and Co. landed at my Uncle David's house and 'ol Ma was doin' Reunion stuff. I got to hang out with Sahara and Kent for most of the time and their big puppy Gunther (despite being a huge dog,Gunther was and is a hyperactive puppy at heart).After checking in at the Hotel,I hanged out for a while. After that it was mostly just dancin' and bein' merry (The Mormon way people don't get no ideas).

The next day was a beach day,in which I finally mustered up some courage to use a boogieboard (This time I didn't make one costly mistake). I also found out Ra doesn't like me much seeing as he kind of sent The Sun to try to kill me, thankfully I only got maimed by that yellow ball demon he sent [the aftermath hurt for days though].

The final day I spent stuffing myself with shortbread that my Aunt Michelle made (Man that stuff is dope! All that buttery,sugary goodness)

Yesterday I finally saw that movie Emmza,KB,Mitchy,and Asm wouldn't stop talking about called "Newsies" which is about a bunch of New York boys that sold newspapers for a penny,while buyin' em for 2, therefore having to sell lots 'o papers to live.However then the head o' the paper decides to raise the price them Newsie boys have to pay 10%.Since they barely live as it is they decide to go on strike. So yeah that's what I did to celebrate my half birthday.

Exactly what this blog looks like now but well I've got some news

First off I go to see Transformers 2 on Saturday,awesome movie but a little long and a few plot holes but oh well. Then I got to relax as Asm and Genun went out on a date (yup lots of dates it seems{anyone know when the proposal happens [eyebrows go up]heh heh})

Next,I've decided to finally come back to N64 Gate so long as y'all comment after all feedback is nice.

After that the family went out to Walnut Creek to celebrate cousin Colter's mission party,lots of food,more than enough for this guy with a hollow leg

Sorry I haven't blogged much,but hey I've got swimming to do,video games to play,naps to take,books to read,and *sigh* homework to do

Weekend 2: So far still good

It wasn't until this weekend that Summer started to pick up

Okay first I got a huge cold which I am still trying to get over which has bee driving me nuts,thankfully I didn't have o stand yet another boring Sunday School session [because Mom didn't think I should go and no unloading dishwashers,wahoo!]

On Friday me,Zary,Antonio,and Genun all went camping,but not where we should've gone. What happened well first the leaders were 15 minutes late, then instead of leaving as soon as everything was loaded like we should've,we waisted time "fixing tires" and claiming there was time becuase Google Maps claimed it would take "half an hour"morons I say ask an expierienced resident who takes traffic into account instead of some website that doesn't even take into account more than one route. Obviously,we were too late and the ferry to Angel Island sailed off.Thankfully the State Park Service took pity and relocated the group to China Camp.We took an exhausting miserable uphll bike hike in which I was coughing and panting the whole way but the downhill was da' bomb and despite all the near skids it couldn't be more fun.After one fun game of cards I turned in(mostly because the leaders wouldn't play Capture the Flag [this should be an olympic sport,this should be a Berkeley High team and should't be dismissed jus ecuase you tag someone]).After eating my miniscule breakfast I read The Magicians Nephew for the 70th time [really I need a new book to read] in the sunlighted drybed for at least an hourr than the group went on a bike rider through the park which thankfully started out flat annd on the flat spot was the tacky but somewhat interesting China Camp Village. After that was straight Marin Ave steep uphill through the suburbs [I didn't mind these suburbs too much,not nearly as dreadful as say the ones out in Sacramento,not Irvine good either though].The camping trip was finished off by a long and fun downhill still I coulda' done without those sharp curves.

Yesterday some relatives came to dinner and Dad finally made a dinner for all of us [It's now been a month since he vowed never to make dinner again,but it's his own fault for taking everything as a complaint and feeding inedible Zuchinni,steamed broccoli,and so on,I don't care what any foolish adult or over mature teenager here says].There was Bockwursts,Burgers,and Ice Cream.After a long feast Wine Guy[our neighbor that lives 100 feet south from us] came over and we talked for a while. After that we went over to Wine Guys house and walked the dogs around the block,followed by Dad taking out the 1964 Triumph [still in mint condition 40 something years later] and ridin' that baby around the hills.After that the relatives headed off to wherever and I stayed up til' midnight.

Now I've got to do other things to do.

Becca's graduated and celebrating a wedding anniversary,Seagull gets to backpack in Wales,and me I've got...........absolutely nothing.

I've got at least 4 weeks left before school lets out and then,guess what SUMMER SCHOOL! All to make my transcript look good.I don't mean to sound whiny but really I'm just getting out of school for Summer and by the time I'm 18 I've got too much to do to enjoy summer.

Well on the bright side of things I got to skip 2 hours of class in favor of an assessment at the Community College,a new video game,to the point I can and will treat every day like a Friday,and now I'm all the bit closer to having computer freedom.

I'd talk more but I've got naps to take,Stratego games to play,video games to beat,and homework to finish.

Holy crap! Summers on the way only a few more weeks. My life as a wisened fool will be over,I shall be none other than a Junior.

My opinions are quite mixed on this fact.

- Closer to leaving Berkeley [What can I say I've never moved once in life what's the experience like?]

I can't believe it

There are so many things I can't believe actually like

-How foolish we as mankind are
-How decent people can be duped into hating something so much they'll systematically murder for to get rid of it
-It's the birthday of the world's sickest man
-It's year 10 since Columbine
-There is actually a National Pot Day

But in my selfish, happier life there are other things I can't believe but believe I'll focus on in this post

1.*Optional* STAR Testing (Yeah um when I put asterisks next to optional that means it's not really an option because 90% of Berkeley High has to be at their 2nd period class to take a dumb multiple choice test for if they don't California will intervene and all lessons will be from a script and odds are it won't have character,the counselors will be diminished to only 3 and well the rest is ptoohickey. It is appalling that instead of evaluating based on grades they based off of filling in of bubbles and lets see 95% of 3200 is 3040 people that have to come,all I can do is pray)

2. Years left (I've got less than 2 years before I am legally an adult and only 2 before Mom and Dad say "Out with you" and I don't feel ready)

3.Sister Grimm Book 7 (I can't believe in 10 days it finally comes,I've already read 2 sneak peeks and I know who The Master of the Scarlet Hand is and I don't like it,I've been waiting for this for years)

4. How hot tonight is (I dunno about the folks in Irvine [Sahara],Provo [Becca,Seagull] or even Oakland [Aunt Pat] but around these parts it's actually hotter than usual,usually it's raining and cold like hell but so far I'm actually boiling and usually that's to be expected in September/October and sometimes November

Too Bad It's Over

Well it was fun while it lasted,here's what I did over Spring Break

-Ate (Mostly my own cooking)
-Slept
-Listened to Icelandic (Had to go back to the beginning though,I'm gonna try to get back on it for sure by Summer)
-Took 6 hours of hiking through Tilden [Not in one day but 2]

-Sailed to Angel Island (If you thought driving a car was fun,try steering a sailboat and turning the tiller it,not to mention All Test No Est [think hormones then you'll no what I'm talking about],a comfy bow to rest on and lots'a soda plus I can rub in Life's Face "Ha I have skills")

I finally got to read the next book in The Cronus Chronicles Series [check out my Shadows Thieves Review for my opinion of the 1st in the series],that book was awesome still I could do without Calypso and so many parts taken from The Odyssey.Good humor and it doesn't end quite so cheesily as most books I've had to read

I am now 2-3 months away from a laptop which means I will have the internet independence I've wanted.

And 2 days ago Asm and I went out to Walnut Creek to visit for Easter,Dad actually hid stuff and we actually did an Easter Egg Hunt of sorts,but that lasted 2 minutes,other than that I played lots of Mitchyball (A 2-player wiffleball made up by Mitchy and I,it's organized but they're only 2 positions so it plays sort of like an unorganized or solo act). Did anone tell Aunt Sally she is the master of rolls? Well I'm saying it now

Lots of good memories oh and my blog has nearly reached it's year anniversary just 2 months left actually

Today I actually arranged some music from a theme I really like from one video game

The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue 23

I'm back for yet another Weekend Edition.It seems my blog posts are starting to die out like the newspapers.Both are really sad but fortunately I can control this one and promise to post more regularly.

It's so sad to see these newspapers dying out just like that,I mean come on who hasn't seen the best part of their morning being waking up to a newspaper and hot chocolate?????Who hasn't????

Personally I blame it all on The Sporting Green or sports section,the newspapers really don't need that section because most of the sports gurus find scores on the internet and on TV and everything else can be found at games.

If that's what it takes to keep the Funnies do so! I don't know how I'd get through school without the antics of say Hammie from Baby Blues or the teenage satire of Jeremy from Zits or even the sleezy antics of rat from Pearls Before Swine.

It's bad enough the school newspaper only comes out every other Friday,I don't want that to be my only newspaper.

Ok that's enough of that now onto the happier stuff

1.Well the school newspaper has finally topped itself with the best April Fool's edition

It's been 2 whole weeks,oh well it's not like anyone reads it anyway!

Good

-2 to awesome video game tournaments based off of none other than Super Smash Bros.!!!!!

-Fablehaven Book 4 was just released,this is by far the best book in the series since book 1 [I should do a review of that soon]

-A really,really good camp out I just got back from (Nothing like a good ol' Capture the Flag in the Dark with flashlights as the only source of light oh and bear foot in cold sand]

-Emmza and KB stayed over for a night

-Video Games (I just got past a really hard level and I discovered some cool parts to other video games)

Bad

-Schoolwork (Projects,essays,bastards [excuse my language but that's the disturbing truth] to deal with,psychotic subs)

The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue 22

Wow what a day! I've just returned from a Youth Conference that lasted all day. I've been gone since 8:30 this morning and only just got in [That's about my average school day in the Cross Country season which reminds me I need to get back in shape].

Anyway I woke up at 7:30 and read TinTin for half an hour then I got dressed and went to the French Hotel for a good hot chocolate and morning snack.Soon after I walked up to church where I got a ride to the ISC for the conference.

So I arrived to find there was a huge amount of cans donated for the Food Bank we [The Ward] donated some as well (We[ as a Group] ended up being the largest donors of canned goods in one day it ended up on the 6 'o clock news) and after the quick donation I registered and the conference began with a good talk about courage and the guy was making references to David and Goliath and Gideon and the 135,000 enemies and so on.

After that I went to a workshop about balancing life.Pretty good workshop but I was mostly in it for the unicycle though he was quite funny at times. I also met a pretty nice young lady who I'll call Ginger. [I ended up hangin' out with her all day,turns out she's from Alameda and works Cross Country with Encinal which is the one of the many schools I have to race against in the fall].After the workshop was a nice little performance from a Utah-based accapella group called Noteworthy, smashing ol' themes they were I couldn't get enough of them,too bad I was sittin' next to really excited girls.Then came disgusting lunch but I got to talk to Emmza,KB,and Kandy [Candace] so it was all fine.

After lunch was 2 more good workshops.The 2nd one was about how culture affects our thinking.This guy was UC professor who goes to my church and he made reference to Little Mermaid. The whole lesson kinda of creeped me out but it was good I was sitting next Ginger again.The 3rd one i didn't pay too much atention to but when I did I liked every bit off it.

After that was testimony bearing in which lots of youth went up and bore testimonies,and now I wish I did to.Then came the most delicious dinner you could get at a Youth Conference but then Asm just left I don't know why I know she couldn't eat dinner but that really doesn't seem reason enough.After that was a closing talk by an astronaut [1 out of the LDS guys to go in space actually] I liked his talk most. I sat once again next to Ginger

After that was the dance which I had the time of my life with I didn't even go to the games for once. I danced all by my self and ocassionally went to the side for food.

Once I got tired I got a ride back and now it's been 40 minutes since I typed all this up and since I returned. That ends this

Title of No Meaning

The title up there,yeah it's completely meaningless so don't hesitate to figure out why I chose it

Well today was the first day of daylight savings time,you know what that means to us seminary goers? Huh?!? Do ya'? Do Ya?!?????

It means instead getting up at a sane hour to get to school at the sane hour of 8:30 and then being able to enjoy sunlight at 7,we get stuck with having to wake up at what we believe to be 4:00 am stuck lurking around school in the dark and then all for one measly extra afternoon hour that isn't needed.If anything it should be called Daylight Stealing Time. If you ask me they should put it back on the first April Saturday at 9:00 am so we don't have to set our clocks before we go to bed and then they should put out an initiative to take away all legislators healthcare [same for Congress on national level].Why should they get a socialized healthcare while 1/3 of Americans must suffer and the other 64% are most likely on the brink. (That's 100 million people with no healthcare and a little under 100 about to lose insurance). To top it off recall the governor so we can finally no longer be 51/50 in education spending.

While Asm was at the prom I hung out with Leffler and had a bit of a Nerf war [Nerfs are soooo underrated] followed by vegging out and then a hilariously bad movie but overall not bad enough to be good. The movie was R rated but keep in mind it was an 80's movie so the standards were completely different [something Asm fails to realize,so judgmental R rating isn't bad,vulgarity and language is].

For once I was not antagonised quite suprisingly it's almost scary how great the day went. To top it off that girl returned but I bet that was completely surreal [It it wasn't she was gone for 2 whole months,if not who knows if she'll return].

Alas it is looking to be late I must get some shoulday' after tomorrows shower morning

Well I've finally made my 75th post but to talk about

Ok I've finished Magic Knight Rayearth[easily the best manga I've encountered] and I keeping thinking how glad I am that Earth is ruled the way it is instead of how Cephiro is,I know I wouldn't want to live in a world where one person will controls it all.Ok that's all for spoilers

I'm 2/5 the way to getting the laptop of my dreams and I'll have enough by about mid-July with breaks and such plus that lousy 10% tithing.I can't wait til' I can get a laptop and I really hope they still have the one I'm looking for by that time and I really hope that the laptop won't be a dissapointment.

But the best part admist all this is that I really don't have much else to talk about,becuase this weekend has been uneventful which is GREAT after all the hard work and tiringness of a regular school day and al those many other things.

I think I'm gonna take a walk now then play some Battalion Wars and who knows what

Easy homework

My point is I'm still in January and it's almost March.I've gotten behind on my Rayearth which I now feel like explaining however since this not, I repeat not my side blog where I'm in critique mode I shall nutshell it all out,so...far because I have fallen behind on my Rayearth. So far it looks like 3 girls from Tokyo (different schools though) go on a field trip to Tokyo Tower.Everything seems normal except the trio hear a voice in which leads to the floor collapsing and they end up in another world.The world of Cephiro where all is conrolled by will power but the ruler balances Cephiro with her will power becuase this ruler has the strongest will to protect it and the pillar gets kidnapped and of course that leads to the Magic Knights being summoned (who are of course the 3 girls).I'll give no more becuase the rest is meant for my review.

At last Dark Serenity is done so I no longer have to deal with fanfic related kickoffs and I can finally hear more about Stones of Destiny [I really hope that's a working title becuase it sounds to generic now I currently don't know a better name of course I'm kinda' tired] which left off in the middle of a conversation. Chris Heimerdinger left off with 20 peoples lives at stake[yes 20 main characters,that's ridiculous],Lemony Snicket didn't give the answer we wanted to hear,instead he gave us an answer that we mostly had to decipher ourselves,Colville went on a 10 year hiatus but this,........?!? Really it's incredible and not in a good way

The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue 20

Well this is the 20th weekend I'm put up a post since June 27th last year when I started the whole thing.

It's been almost a month since the newspaper changed it's look from unique and gorgeous to looking like USA Today[and yes I have seen the USA Today look].Nearly a month sinec finals were over and a week since that college tour. Wow time sure flies by even when you're bored by mediocrity. Ok fine it's not all boring some of it's frustrating [like why my brain takes a freeze ray and pulls the trigger on himself during an Algebra test or why I'm stuck dealing with Joel{not going past that}],some of it is great [like getting home or reading Magic Knight Rayearth or Calvin and Hobbes at the library].

So yesterday was the High School Talent Show.Fun??? Exciting????? No,not really.Nightmare yes!
First the line was too long,then the people were talking about stuff I'd rather not repeat,the tickets cost $28[I didn't know I'd need my ID] and once we got in the people were of course too loud and obnoxious [to be expected] but the music was so loud and bland not even earplugs would tone it down heck I don't even think noise killing earmuffs would tone it down.Luckily Asm's act was among the first. The first act was singing [pretty good but not brilliant],the next act was Asm's.Her poem was brave and quite deep but I think she's trying to send us all on a guilt trip if we offend her or even try to help.The next act was was another song [which was much better,but it got to loud].After that was a poem (I really liked but it sounded familiar and according to Asm it was not memorized) then there was a dance act which had the stupidest background music and felt fake.The final act I paid any attention toa light show which was by far the most impressive [of course there's no way a poem or song can compete with a light show].In the middle of the next act which extremely obnoxious and loud,I left and stayed outside until it was finally over.

Lets see last I'm I posted,it was a day before Barack Obama became president.

Since then I've

-Gotten past my finals
-Narrowly passed all my classes
-Done the Exit Exam
-Done a lot of make up work
-Gotten assigned 2 projects
-Taken a tour of 2 colleges
-Decided on the colleges that I want most and my major
-Gone hog wild with Battalion Wars
-Tried to catch up on my blogging

Well the results weren't pretty with the finals,I think I ended up with D's on a few of them.My notes weren't helpful but on a few of them I got A's I think I got a complete 100 on one them.Thankfully I managed to pass all my classes so unless something goes terribly wrong a the end of the year I won't be taking any classes again like I feared. About a week after that,all the sophomores at Berkeley High had to take the Exit Exam

Why it's called such I do not know. For one if you fail it you have like 55 times to try it over,for two if you do pass your stuck at High School for 2 years.Finally if you fail it you're either brain dead,not trying,or something is seriously wrong,Sahara if you are reading this I'll say you could pass it.The exam is 8th grade in Math and 6th in English.

On Monday I got assigned a memoir like project where I have to interview a relative about their experiences and stuff,then the next day I got assigned to research a nation colonized by a European power and how it all went and put it on a poster.

Yesterday,my class left school in order to tour 2 campuses [Cal State East Bay and St. Mary's College].I for one preferred St. Mary's College.Cal State looked like BYU in almost every way,except it didn't have the homely feel,it was atop a hill so the insignia was nowhere to found[by insignia I mean BYU's Y,CAL's C,University of Utah's U,Stanford's S,etc.] and the builidings where too close andit seemed a bit more for graduates over undergraduates. The tour guide didn't give too much info on the life or atmosphere either. Finally we all had lunch at the dining area[the best part of this tour by far,but nowhere near the quality of BYU cafeteria food]. I know I'm not thinking of applying here. After a really good meal the gang pakced up and headed off to St. Mary's College which is about 10 miles from Gandma's house and 8 from mine so though it's close it's not dangerously close. The tour guide this time went deep into the heart and spirit of the college.Apparently they have a system where ou have 2 semesters one whole month off and a January part. The architecture was unique,the chapel looked like a run-of-the-mill Roman church and overall this campus and the how it all was set-up was inviting

The Monkey World Weekend Edition:Issue 19

I've skipped a few weekends I'll admit it, so rather than be the twenty-something-ith Saturday I've posted this is merely the 19th.

If I'm not mistaken this should be Day 2 of Kwanzaa and the 3rd day of Christmas. Hey guys where are my French Hens?????????? And for that matter I should've gotten a partridge in a pear tree with my gifts and 2 turtle doves yesterday[yes turtle doves exist Kevin got 2 in Home Alone 2] and personally it is a little over a fortnight until well if you know you know what.

Alright,alright I'll admit it I don't really need or want those gifts,it was just fun to type up.What I'd really love to see is Asm work on her novel[I thank her for letting me read it,but really she left off in the middle of a conversation and albeit of an important one that could very well shape the rest of the book{ok,ok I dunno about that but hey,a guy can guess}],snow,world peace, and Warriorcats regain glory

I've gotten back to blogging reviews my last reviews were reviews of Nintendo, Super Nintendo,PlayStation[consoles],Firefox[Web Browser], and Wave Race 64[video game] and on this blog I made early New Years Resolutions and that's it for blog stuff

For Christmas Eve the family went out to visit realtives I spent time DS'ing with KB,bothering Asm and Emmza, singing Christmas Carols,and of course going crazy with all that food. After the party when we got home Ma and Pa collapsed,Asm and I camped out next to the Christmas Tree and the very next day,after getting all the presents opened[I got a house key,DVD's of Pirates of the Carribean:At World's End, The Chronicles of Narnia movies{The Lion,the Witch,and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian},Pajama bottoms,sunday clothes,personal stuff I'd rather not talk about and that's about it but it's better than poor ol' Pa who just got a bar of soap]. So anyway Uncle John and his daughers came over for an afternoon and we played Apples to Apples the whole time the results were hilarious. Then we headed back to Walnut Creek to visit "The Cousins"(Uncle Eric,Aunt Sally,Colter,KB,Emmza,and Mitchy) we ate,sang more christmas carols, and ran from a fire which started because a log went crazy so kilted up Eric did a fire caber tilt,but the"caber" dropped and the room caught fire[according to Mitchy the room still smells of smoke] now I was hanging out with their kitty while this was happenning so when people ran I was like huh?.The next day was lazing around,then eating like hell when the string party started. Today everyone just hung around watching Psych,Chronicles of Narnia:Prince Caspian and doing a puzzle while I played Battalion Wars.

Enough????? Too bad this isn't the last blog post I'll be back on Monday(Or Tuesday if I end up on the ski trip I hope for)

I'm done thinking about what I want for Christmas. I either have to wait for my birthday or what I want is impossible.I just read Asm's blog and she listed 5 impossible things she wanted.As much as I'd love to wallow in doom and gloom. I think I'll work on New Years Resolutions

I know,I know it's early but hey the Holidays(Christmas,Hanukah,Kwanzaa) hid behind a bush and while I was stressing about my grades,they came up and pounced on me.I'm not gonna let New Years do the same. Ok here's what I got so far

1. To be a little more optimistic[even if pessimism is often the more real]

2. Be a bit more productive

3. Try harder for better grades

4. Become financially stable

5.Stop being a procrastinator

6.Stop cursing

7.Change this ugly template

8.Pray harder to get out of this growth spurt

9.Contribute more to world peace[I'll probably break this one but hey one can wish and set goals anyway]

Let the fun begin,need I say more?????

Alright if my life is really that exciting and fun I might as well humor ya'.

After Wednesday things started getting so easy. Wednesday was a regular mediocre day, on Thursday it was mostly mediocre except we[the class] spent all of 2nd period preparing for Exhibition Night.After that pretty mediocre until after school in which case everything was tense.Dad was angered by being misinformed about the amount of lentils to make,Mom was looking for lid. I was running late,figuring it would take forever I took a mad dash back down to school

At Exhibition Night there was pizza,more pizza,and more pizza so the lentil dish stuck out and almost none of it got eatin'. Exhibition Night is best described as an Open House and if you don't what an Open House is,oh go stick your finger in food processor and anger a mountain lion.So I basically was presenting a chemistry lab where you dip a stick into formulas like sodium chloride or copper nitrate and then put it around the edge of a flame and looked for color changes in the flames. Don't ask if we worked with Dihydrogen monoxide,that would extinguish the fire. I also found that he freshman were better debaters than we[the class again] were

We're not quite at the holidays yet but we're almost there

I don't know if that's a good thing for everyone here but for me it's great

So far I've been working on a history essay,studying a species I already know about and then forced to make a lousy poster about it.Stupid Environmental Science class I still wish I was in that Ceramics class I signed myself up for.I was on a role,the teacher was nice and the students weren't troublemakers.

It's almost like Ms. Morris' Deranged Spanish class of Doom last year.Only the students and I get along well and the teacher keeps messing with my grades.

I look forward to mostly to Exhibition Night,where yours truly works with flames on a gas burner dip a rod into certain chemicals and see the freakish color changes,much more fun in action than on paper.I'm also at a moral vs justice crossroads.I want to see MILK (That new movie a about Harvey Milk,the first openly homosexual politician in California maybe even the U.S. altogether, anyway he was assassinated along with then mayor George Moscone in 1978 but the movie examines more of his life than that which interests me).Now me I have nothing against gays and would like to see what it's about but the movie is R rated.It is in my personal code not to watch R rated movies,I saw one once it was in class and I didn't know it was R rated(it was about a guy a who hated being a guy and wished to be a dame,so it was transgender that's not reason enough to rate a movie R).Unlike that other R rated movie I was talking about,this one has good reasons like having strong language and sexual stuff. I shouldn'rt judge a movie by some content but yet I can't shake off the idea of all that profanity and smutt.I just dunno what to do? HOnest answer I don't want any "don't see it you'll go to hell" or "God will hate you for watching it" none of that South Baptist stuff.

Other than that just 3 weeks til my birthday, and a week til' Christmas give or take.I've also been listening to Pillage by Obert Skye,interesting audio book and uh that's about it. Oh and if that Camp Pillow of mine takes over again lemme know

No it is the desperate struggle of Uber Psycho Tom as he tries to survive the final 2 weeks before the holidays and the 5th week before his birthday

He barely survived the grueling NDV rehearsals of doom which he loathed to death.He had better things to do rather than play the instrument which bound him for 8 years and walk up a huge hills with tons of weight on him [backpack and violin]. He finally finished a trilogy of a review of mascots and after the concert ate as many cookies and goldfish and crackers with cheese and of course soda.No Irn-Bru sadly but a disgusting potion of Ginger Ale,Dr. Pepper,Sprite, Fruit Punch,and Diet Coke kept him satisfied.

He is currently doing his homework and asked me to blog this nonsense.Being the sadisitic person I am I went right ahead so he could kill readers through boredom.

He worked hard on the CASHEE(California High School Exit Exam) while I well I just sat back and played Battalion wars on his GameCube.

"Uh-oh" I said " here he comes I'd better run"

Sorry for all that odd narration folks it was that dang Camp Pillow of mine wasn't it.Well he forgot to mention that school was a hell hole today

Amazing,..... To think in 3 weeks all of the Christmas excitement will be over and in not quite 6 weeks I will be 16.

In midst of this I have to perform in a concert on Sunday and go to 2 rehersals. 2 dumb rehersals with no real food.I've said this before,...I think. I #$%^ hate the violin[If I don't use comic curses I'll use real ones and I'm trying to cut back on that] and I've been forced into giving up my time for 8 years which means means I don't get to see some of the friends I'd like to see and I'd be stuck with Leffler.

Luckly each concert has a lot of goodies and this one is right by Chinatown which means lots o' pork bao.Pork Bao is like this huge doughy but sweet roll[eat hot or it tastes like glue] then has a sweet layer of pork on the inside.

Since I hate it so much but I have no choice I'm thinking of charging her for it

The Birthday Countdown Continues

Last post I made there was 9 weeks left,now 2 weeks have passed.

Ok on Tuesday basically it was a good day.I being the psycho I am decided to try something less sadistic.I wish I could say it was simply to creep y'all out. No Ma wanted me to get my Duty to God award out of the way so I had to do a project.Me I don't see the point of doing all this annoying scripture memorizing(except the sacrament prayers those I should memorize) all just for one little award.The project was to make dinner for the homeless at the Downtown Men's Shelter.

Me and my crew made a tasty Lentil Soup,Salad,Brownies[ok ok Ma did that part] and we made enough for ourselves and the 70 homeless guys and workers.After that we watched an NCIS,I fell asleep at the most critical part and was like hey what???

After NCIS(That's on Tonight) I collapsed and it was Wednesday.For most of the day I hung around the house trying to beat Sonic Adventure 2.Good game check out my review on my other blog.I also posted a review of my top and bottom Mascots and shall until I get to the worst and tops.After that the computer was taken back to the shop.

In the night we left for Walnut Creek. I mostly played Super Smash Bros. Melee,but I finally saw Kung Fu Panda and Iron Man that kept me up til' 1 the next day. 3 hours later KB(or Ketchup-Bun becuase Madi's the only person I know who'd eat buns plain with ketchup) woke up and I didn't sleep much after that. So all the cousins were put on a hike up Mt. Diablo,I found out Greg was going on a longer,less wussy hike.I opted for that one instead.We walked from Clayton[which Colson is based off of in one of Mull's novels] up 5 miles to where the others started. It was at first flat but eventually got steeper and steeper til' you wondered if it would ever end.By the time we reached the top it was so foggy it wasn't funny. I got back and managed to get home before the other guys. I enjoyed a game of Spud with Asm,Emmza,Sahara, and all the other cousins my age.Then Aunt Tina came over. I dunno about the others but I went crzy with all the food and still wasn't satisfied. We had a good little gathering.Then went pumpkin pie crazy.

I went home with Tina,she stayed overnight with us and nothing exciting happened on Firday.

On Saturday we cousins gathered again this time for bike ride.Ok the route was annoyingly flat and boring and the destination was a train museum.Now to someone who likes trains or a parent raising someone who likes trains that's interesting.But to others it's like ghoing to a box factory where boxes are made or listening to Sonic R's music aka DULLSVILLE!!!!!!! I'll admit I was impressed with size an execution but come on it's just trains.Then we biked to Jamba Juice,I biked back drinking my Chocolate Mo'od,sometimes with no hands.

After all this excitement posting this blog is probably the most extrordinary thing worth mentioning. Oh yeah and I got a new video game "Battalion Wars"

Well so far this has been a great weekend.

Well Friday was just a regular school-day except I think my brain opened up my head and left on a trip to Aruba.No I haven't been thinking about Aruba. Anyway, I came to school yes but instead of loitering around Downtown I went to Ms. Schneider's classroom to get some help on Algebra(I did so on Thursday as well).Then come to the test I had no idea what to do,I absorbed the 411 in the morning well and did some problems but some how it leaked.Ugh! I can't afford a D or lower. Sigh! the grading system is sooo arbitrary I mean come on the homework doesn't do much on the system tests are everything!.Then I failed the Spanish quiz.

After getting home I hung around and watched The Pacifier.

Today I got up at 5:30 am,seminary time and headed off with Uncle Greg to Mt. St. Helena, no not Mt. St. Helens. It was a good 10 miles there and to the trailhead. On the way up there was a memorial to Robert Louis Stevenson and it marked where he used to have a cabin(Honestly I don't get what's so great about this guy what did he do other than write Treasure Island anyway?).Then it was a long but gentle climb to the South Peak. Then though the road continued, there was a seperate trail but it joined up with the road and saved some time(Dubbed as "The Mother of all Shortcuts" by yours truly). Anyway eventually we got to the top,it was a really good view. You could see the ocean,Clear Lake,the whole of Napa Valley,Mt. Lassen,Mt. Shasta, and the Sierra Nevadas. On the way down we ran into Eric and his troop(can't help but pity him,having to drag them all the way up and wait on em'). Then it was a good 100 mile drive back home and uh now I've been mostly hangin' around and posting this.

Pretty good hike,certainly recommendable,Mt. Diablo has nothing on this nor doth Mt. Tamalpias.

9 Weeks Left

That's right,just 9 weeks until........ until what????

Oh right MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

In 9 weeks I will be 2 years from voting,and being an adult sa'weet.

My grades are returning to normal

On Monday I walked down in the cold at night to the End of Season Banquet.If I can remember correctly,there was crispy chicken,pesto pasta,lasagna, ginger ale,Coke, cookies, casserole and uh brownies as well. After the banquet came awards for ahletes who miraculously kept a high GPA how I do not know.After that was a slideshow of all the races. I swear I looked like an old man with mostly bones.

Everyother day was mediocre and unexciting

I also am leading a Homeless Shelter dinner,I'm supposed to make Lentil Soup and Salad after gong to an earlier one I decided to use the same recipe

Other than that I've got a hike up Mt. St. Helena and Thanksgiving not much else

Not too much has happened to me since my last blogs just days after the election. No need for politics now it's over and that's it.Anyway here's what happened

On Saturday Ma' students had a recital,most of it was pretty good,the best part was Asm left on a walk.I'm sorry but she was snide jerk that took things waaay too seriously.The worst part was waiting to eat considering the dishes were: Lentil Soup,Saffron Shrimp and Rice,lots of crackers and spreads,Brownies,and cookies. Also the computer went to the shop.(Otherwise this would be Issue 17)

On Sunday I had to go a damn rehersal I'm so pissed why can't I just quit that stupid instrument.Ok I like Classical music yes,but seriosly having my time taken,being blackmailed and all sorts of heartache for a stupid instrument and for what so some people can say" Oo look he's good,he knows what he's doing"?If I had come from a family of non-musicians my life might actually be a little happier.Wish I had a chainsaw right now

On Monday and Tuesday I mostly watched Psych and listened to Icelandic currently the only hings that stick in my head are how to say "I am called Thomas","I speak English", "I only speak English and Spanish" and "Do you speak English"(Eg heiti Thomas) (Eg tala ensku) (Eg tala bara ensku og spaensku) (Talarthu ensku?)[Once again I can't figure out to get the Icelandic characters so I have to make do with similar English letters and blends].And I also ran on my home courses.NCIS was great and uh yeah that covers those days

On Friday,first I got to seminary by car rather than bike,walked to school with Genun,Zary, and Asm and we had a discussion on if nerds could save the world pretty random but oh well.After that I read the paper through most of 1st period since it was chaos, a mediocre 2nd period but hey with a humorous chemsitry techer it helps.For 3rd period I read the paper cuz' I had nothing for class.At lunch I left school with the Cross Country team for the final race,I did so well and I was so damn good but my shoes came untied twice I got as far ahead as I could,tied it up and hoped it would last,it didn't so I just tightened my foot to keep in the shoee and it was on a downhill so I got passed a bit and yes I double-knotted them before and in the middle of the race.The Berkeley varsity killed the other teams,even El Cerrito(YEs Asm if Layna gets to obnoxious you can use this)

Now I got up wrote a blog on my other blog,made somepancakes and hot chocolate,read the newspaper, and um here I am posing this

Yesterday was the election.

For at least a year.All the hot stuff was anything about Obama or McCain.In the last few months Palin came into the political scene.Anything that was in the least bit controversial about Palin was fired up and blown outta proportion.

At last it is all over,because the election is over who won. That's right OBAMA won and totally beat McLame. In his speech he talked much about what needs to be done and he told of an anecdote about a 106 year old woman who finally voted,who had waited so long for a black president,who had waited so long for the Civil Rights Movement to succeed.

I also noticed McCain supporters booing McCain every time he mentioned Obama in his speech,while Obama supporters clapped when he mentioned McCain

My outlook on this......

Well it's about bloody time,this is history and I will proud to be around to see the 1st biracial president,I cannot go into more detail the reasons should be obvious.

As for the Props I know or care most about

2: Yes (The outcome was yes,I am so happy,in mock and real election results it was all agreeable)

4: Yes (The outcome was no,I can't understand why it would be no,I mean come on someone mature should have some clue on what is going on,I know I'd hate it if my daughter died from an abortion I didn't know about because I wasn't notified)

I don't understand yes at all,Marriage is sacred yes well so what gays should have access anyway,now it's not just illegal it's no longer a right,I can't believe this was even on the ballot,so what if I'm a Mormon and the rest of the church supports it,in WWII did German Mormons support the Nazis??? YES!!!!!,How about racism in who gets priesthood??? In fgact only 30 years ago did non-whites get priesthood.Homosexuality is not a sin,calling it a sin is like calling being a different race than white a sin,oh my I guess I'm a sinner forever because I'm Italian to,oh wait I'm not)

Hey Guys!It's been....not so long since I last blogged oh well a few things of interest have happened

Thursday: After school,Basically I go to Cross Countruy,normal practice right???? WRONG! intstead the team runs up Dwight to it's end which on a Marin Steep hill,Lombard Street(Crookedest Street) hill for those who don't know about Marin.Not to bad I suppose but when you're going in regular running gear it's pure murder.Had to run up and down the hill 5-6 times.After returning back to school,I overhear of pies in the Good Morning Cafe Room.after getting my stuff I head over to the room and I find it's crowded but there is alot of Chili,Pumpkin Pie,and Corn Bread and I also find that girl.The meal was delicious it turned out the chili was made by Cross Country team mebers of the workshop who were to injured to run. Her'es the dialog between me an the girl

Her:Do you hate it when I abuse you?
Me: Uh,no no I don't hate it
(It's not really abuse it's more like a sort of game)
Her:Do you like it
Me:Yeah
Her: You know I only hit you because I want to be hit back,will you?
Me:Yeah
Her:And do it when I least expect it

(I like people with a nature like that, KB's(Madi's) sorta like that,old pen pal Silva was like that,really I could go on I choose not to)

After that I left for home

Friday:At seminary I was piecefully trying to master scriptures,when Zary and Asm left,leaving Genun and myself.Then too his chair and decided to sit at the table for once,what does he do he shoves me.then I shove him to get balance and face punched him I shouldn't have but it wasn't that hard.This was after an argument between my lying down and his homework doing.Eventually Mr. Mike chewed him out,silly Mr.Mike all it did was make him cry.Then I got blamed.I told Dad my side of the story.Ya' know what I am damn frickin' sick of ya'll pointinmg out how I lie and how Zary and Genun and Asm always sit at the table and you assume I do nothing.You know what I don't have good memory for stuff like oh what was the last lesson,it's often either vague or gone so Shut your bigmouth up ASM for claiming I don't pay attention!!!!!!!!!.After that I was forced to apologize for somehing I had little to do with so I left on my bike.By the time I was ready to apologize to Zary for what I actually did I couldn't find him.I still have to apologize

Today: I hung around eating up the candy,watching Psych and playing video games here and at Leffler's.Along with that I'm still trying to kill this cold,rest my genetically tight heels,and blog(My latest posts are a review of Batman Begins and this one)

Can't believe Election Day is soooo close.Somehow I bet Mccain and Prop. 8 will suceed,of course that's just my pessimism.

Wow this has been an odd week

FIrst of all the Ward Halloween Party sucked,next I dunno what to be for Halloween not that I'm gonna trick or treat or anything.

Doing so might be too predictable and I can't tarnish my reputation as being unpredictable either

The stuff from last post"Annoyed" continues and everyone one is too political

Ok on a personal blog,personal poilitical and religious views are exceptable,but honestly at school it's ridiculous.It's seems at every turn it's always "Who are you voting for?" or "You don't support McCain do you" or something against MCCain voters

Personally I would never vote for McCain or anyone of those Elephants,but hey a little respect would be nice for those that do

Next time anything political or religious comes up I'm just going to "Can you keep a secret" they'll probably answer yes then I'll say"So can I" I stole that from Dear Abby but hey it's good advice

I haven't been able to run much either,it seems everytime I try my heels get sprained or my calf goes bezerk.Dad says I have the right body for this but I'm not inclined to believe that anymore

Today the whole class looked at the General election stuff,quite interesting some of it,I had no idea the Peace party existed who is the candidate,gasp! Nader,tha guy who's run in all of them for 30 years and never has a chance.

Why me why,why WHHHHYY???????

I'm getting so sick of being asked all sorts of things that I don't wanna answer.

At 4th period today the usual came out. FirstI hjave a normal coversation then I get things like

"Do you smoke"naturally being the good religious person I say"Uh no"

Then next I know"Are you a virgin?" "Have you ever kissed a girl do you want to?" "Have you ever had a girlfriend" I had to lie just to get some peace "You like Catie don't you" it gets sooo tedious annoying and uncomfortable I''ve said hat 1000 times

Society leaves no room for people who'd rather wait a bit,look I know I mentioned tha girl yes I know but it's not concrete and I'd like to keep it that way,it just makes things less heartbraking and simpler.

I'm sick of being coupled and compared enough of THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Why couldn't I be like Asm and simply not need to deal with this because it never happens?????

Don't get me wrong I have intentions of marrying someday but not now!It sucks to be a liberal with morals it's like the scorn from mormons for being liberal and scorn from liberals for not flocking to weed and all that other crap

It's been a while since I blogged

Here's what's happened

Monday: It's Indigenous People's Day,I do nothing of importance

Tuesday:I attempt to heal grades,pretty ordinary after that

Wednesday:Aw yes this day a fire leaked out on campus,causing everyone to have to leave campus and cancel everything.Pretty scary but well it was minor and it happened in one of the bathrooms

Thursday:Tilden race,I did pretty well I felt proud

Friday:Another fire thing,this time just to the football field ut still thus making it the 10th time thge alarm has gone off in the whole year and 6th time the whole month

Today was anmother race,in Hayward this time I was last to race so I waited there for hours and now I have a pounding headache.Oh well my homework's done.

I've been watching utube videos of homemade consoles,where people make their own portable adaptations of contemporary consoles.Just imagine a portable Xbox.I haven't listened to my Icelandic in ages and yeah.Watched the debate wasn't impressed McLame one bit and Obama just doesn't seem to wanna answer any question about sacrifice.

The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Lucky Edition

I'd call it issue 13,but 13 is such a lucky number and I always end up with using13 as my number.

First on the 13th when I am born,it snows,my line number in 7th and 8th grade was 13,I turned 13 on Friday the 13th,the year I turned 13 was the best....so far.There are 13 books in my favorite series. And though I could go on I think I'll wrap it up.

Anyway on Thursday I failed the Spanish test,watchexd a movie called Mi Familia and had no 6th period because the faulty Fire Alarm system went off every dang second

On Friday,Enviromental Science class sucked. Why? Because it was complete chaos,not unlike last years Spanish Class actually.I then decided to read Orson Scott Card's "Enchanted" which is currently a let-down. The characters feel so dang flat.Ivan is in a cocoon,Katerina is a jerk,Dmitiri sucks,and the king seems to accepting.Also Dr. Mendeleev must've time traveled and tried to look like my Chemistry teacher.He almost had me fooled but nope I knew it wasn't Mr. Robertson after all he was supposed to absent.

Today I did some homework then went to the ACCRC where helped fix computers.I noticed a lot of modems,and motherboards, and screws and CPU's.Then I had nothing to so I along with Genun and Zary went to another building and tested out a video game.It was called OPEN ARENA.After that I got a ride and then walked the rest of the way to Leffler's house and he had Super Mario Kart.MMM what a game one of favorites

Well heres a quick sum up of what I've done

Ok on Sunday, We all celebrated Granny's birthday all of us made different pizzas. Who was there ok we have Uncle Greg and Aunt Karen,Christy and Danny and their little child Goosie who leearned the concept of Bonk!

On Monday uh....Nothing

Tuesday someone asked me if I'd ever rape someone now they's all up in my face and it was geing on my nerves.Now being to the psycho I am I say "Only they's all up in my face like you or if they's tryin' to rape me",so I'm defying the 13th Article of Faith whatever the reaction was what I needed.And another tedious boring debate between Obama and McCain,lets face it an old fart who owns 7 houses calls his opponent "that one" and picked a hockey mom with little knowledge of the outside Alaska at the wrong time has no chance.

TodayI biked down to seminary,read the paper which had an amazing Food Scetion,helped make ruled for the anarchy History Class since Mr. Peck decided to see if we the students could make rules,after that nothing,then at 1:30 in the middle of a test I leave for Cross Country meet,one problem the bus is an hour late.After thatI was exhausted and fell short of my own expectations.That was one of the cruelest courses ever

The Monkey World Weekend Edition:Issue 12

Like I said after 10 the number is no longer written and since the 11th edition was the 50th post,the rule is now in order.

So yeah I watched the debate between Palin and Biden which are of course John McCain and Barack Obama's running mates and well I was somewhat impressed with Palin she was going downhill until now,still she was clearly no match for Biden,I mean she didn't answer half the questions.

The beginning was quite odd though,it started off with "Can I call you Joe?".

I enjoyed the Huckleberry Trip,maybe because I went crazy with eating Huckleberries.I met some odd freshdudes and the games were odd but interesting

And then came the exhausting Cross-Country race which though wasn't too bad at first,it took a toll on my heels

Today I helped clean Granny's windows and lighten the weight of the Milky Way bags he heh heh after that I went to General Conference at church and came home and here I am boring you to death with my tedious,repetitive,adevntures

However my grades could step up,but I'm seriously scared becuse any D grade means I have ta' take the class again.I also have a nice field trip and Cross-Country meet as well

Normally I'd call this the 11th Weekend Edition,but since this is the 50th post,since this blog started June 13th,5 months after my 15th birthday. Naturally I must call this the Golden Edition

Anyway I finally got a haircut,and have finally caught up on Warriors by completing Eclipse,The Rise of Scourge,and Tigerstar and Sasha.

Tigerstar made an appearence in all 3 books. In Tigerstar and Sasha he the mate,In Rise of Scourge he is the apprentice that almost kills Scourge but is then seasons and seasons later killed by Scourge which is quite ironic. In Eclipse he still mentors Lionpaw as best he can but thinks the most important prophecy of all is Firestar's poppycock dreams.

Now I only skimmed through Tigerstar and Sasha and probably should read it again but I can give Eclipse and Rise of Scourge a review

My Icelandic s coming along well,I love how pure and unchanged the language has been since 874 A.D when Ingulfur Arnarson and his Irish slaves[shame on him for that] settled what is now Reykjavik.

I didn't quite reach the physical problems Asm did.Since I love the depressed faces I'll start with the good

-I talked to that girl
-History Class was a breeze
-I'm excelling in 3 of my classes

The Bad:
-I'm failing in the other 3
-I'm failing in one of them because of some paper I don't recall getting
-My field trip got cancelled
-The cross country meet I got set for was cancelled as well

And of course the bad murdered the good

In other juk NCIS had a killer kickoff,these Palin jokes get funnier and funnier like the ol'Palin has shot Bullwinkle;Rocky attempts suicide' or 'Daughter's preganancy stops hurricane' ok the last one was a bit overdoing it still it's about time the liberal donkeys have a say in stuff.

Well this is it the final edition with the number written in word.

Anyway I just ran my first Cross-Country race of the season. I did pretty well so much better than last year,my record was about 14:00 for 2 miles,it would seem slow on paper but I'd like to see you try it

I'm still going strong on my Icelandic and Lucy's still treating my bed like it hers

Also the new member dinner was tonight,Mr. Mike campaigned for best dessert. Here's what his slogan was....."Obama promises change,McCain promises change,I promise ICE CREAM" and it was all homemade and delicious mmm.Now personally I don't see any change outta McCain and his false promises but whatever I take Ice Cream any day over any politicians,especially when you got Chocolate Malt,Oreo,Cookie Dough, and basic and true Vanilla.

The dishes were so good though like Gnochi,Corn Chowder,Jambalaya,Tortilla[the Spanish omelet version not the Mexican one).

And now I should get back to homework instead of wasting your time about petty stuff.

My New Room

Technically it's old hat now,but I've officially moved out of my tiny room with a huge bed.It's ot much bigger but everything can have a place and be in it because I have more room.

I used to have a double bed,now I have more room thanks to my new twin bed,kind of a downgrade I suppose but oh well

I now have 2 closets and a built in bureau lots of shelves and a desk.And since Asm still is downstairs,I finally get some peace and quiet.

I'm not the only one who moved in to my new room though,no I just get the night shift it's Lucy who truly owns the room.And at last I n longer have to listen to the satanic kitty(yes Walker is an evil demon at night)

Oh yeah and the first late start happened,so I got to hang out at home for an extra whopping 2 hours

Also on Saturday is my first Cross-Country race of the year damn it's gone by quickly

I feel terrible,my last blog though selfish and thoughted was posted on the day I shouldn't have done so,9/11

That was the day when we hit bad karma,2000 died, and the day Americans who were Muslim or Middle Eastern lost all respect.

Like asm's blog,why couldn't it be more like the kiddy book Spotty the Bunny[read asm's blog for plotline] or Dr Seuss'(who though made books for kids hid lots of adult situations like what you'd see inThe Lorax) ok,ok I can't remember the books name but it was about this group of,I can't remember the names but anyway 2 groups of them were segregated because one group had a little green star on their tummy while another group didn't,then some thing came in with a machine which put little green stars on the opressed groups tummy.Naturally they signed up and got stars.All diversity was lost and things weren't right.To fix this they got a new machine removing the stars,so it went back to 2 groups with a small distinction living happily ever after[not trying make it sound like a fairy tale]

Racism is thought to be discrimination by skin color,in reality it is discrimination on what seems to be real but isn't,skin color simply is the first thing that defines race.What is racism ask yourself that.

I suppose what happened 7 years ago was inevitable after all the harsh treatment,Western supremacy,and overthrowng good goverments just to add puppets that turn us into WALL-E humans down the road(The Shah in Iran anyone,or maybe the assaination in Guatemala,the dictator installation in Kuwait),and religious discrimination.It's kind of ironic to because the people who hijacked those planes were 20 years ago actually trained by The U.S. goverment to take down Soviets.Don't get me wrong it wasn't right and I'm not siding with the hijackers I'm just reporting one of the motivations

It's even sadder when 3 to maybe 6 people can cause racism.Before 9/11 it was all good(it was there but his couldn' happen in the open so much,That day 3-6 people hi jack planes and BAM every last follower of Islam or person of Middle Eastern descent will mostly likely get things like "America hater" or "terrorist" or"hijacker" spat at them.It would be even more disgusting if the goverment paid for this to happen[some actuallly believe it's inside,don't worry I don't].I'm still disgusted,they knew it would happen,an attempt actually happened in '95,some betted the airlines hijacked would lose huge money and yeah,it was known but not stopped.

Now to end that controversial, perhaps slightly off but mostly true junk.

This all stirred up after I read Asm's latest blog and read up on a play called Yellowjackets.

Yes,so close eunnngh! almost there just 1 day left

That's right teacher's have been handing out too much homework,I've found myself working 3 hours at night,0 period,and sometimes lunch.

Because of this I get no sleep,thanks to Walker the evil shadow that must wreck something every morining and come to my window and yowl so loud,so loud that I'm pretty sure you could hear it from Scotland

But of course Asm sleeps through WWIII and doesn' help,sometimes when she does hear she pretends to sleep and still makes me do all the work.Ok first of all I can't help that I bang the door I'm tired,grumpy and frustrated.I've tried keeping it all open and then raccoons enter,I've tried using ear plugs even.

Well I've been too busy to listen to Icelandic,but have just finished Ender's Game and am now reading Ender's Shadow.I actually like Game better but the pint of view is better in Shadow,also got Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Yesterday I played a little bit of Spore and yeah

And the deli people must now surrender to Prosciutto Man,and yes I meditate in the park,go ahead call me sac-religious but is in frickin' Mormon doctrine that all religion's have some truth and it says nowhere,I repeat NOWHERE......that meditating is a false apostate idea,plus it keeps me calm

The 1st School-Day Monday

Ok this is the first Monday of school in BHS and it was a mediocre day

Heres the span of what happenned from when I posted Weekend Edition Issue 8 to te end of this here post:

1.I found my Icelandic Book and CD's and am now studying 2 foreign languages

2.I went to a sponsorship where a hoops shooter was pledged on average $.30 per shot and he shot a lot in 15 mins.

3.I went to some school grounds with BF and a pal of his and ran into my pal Talia's little brother(she never told me she had a brother)

4.I went to a boring rehearsal,darn VSF

5.I listened to Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy,wow what a book I should read it now

6.I reunited myself with Yoshi's Island[do not confuse this with Yoshi's Island DS],NES originals Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3,naturally they were on an emulator becuase few people have NES or SNES anymore

7.A new seminary techer who I'll call Probe for now since he's on probation by my standards

8. I twisted my ankle[or at least pulled a muscle] at Cross-Country so I spent my afternoon in the training room with an ice pack instead of running

9.I killed you by boredom of monotonous words

The Monkey World Weekend Edition:Issue Eight

Finally the weekend is here.Basically I've been getting up at 5,leaving for seminary at 6 and then leaving school at 5:30 or 6 and getting home at 6:15 or 6:45 and getting into bed at 11 thanks to homework and then I can't finish it in order to get a wink of sleep so I usually finish all homework during lunch.

Because this has been going on,I've been needing to catch up on sleep. Anna being so fortunate doesn't have this problem and could go to Santa Cruz for the youth conference. Whatever,I've been there time and time over besides we weren't allowed on the rides last time in the 2007 conference.

Yesterday some relatives came over for dinner and I had great time,Lucy of course wouldn't get enough of the women guests. The food was delicious mmm Mashed Potatoes and Sole.

I'm currently studying Iceland.I'd show the flag butI don't know how to put pictures on my blog.So picture it like this,imagine a white cross put on its side with red painted inbetween and blue on the outside of this cross.Icoulda' just said reverse red and blue from the Norway flag but none of you might know what it looks like.

The only current words in the Icelandic language I know are Geyser(yes that word was originally Icelandic),Reykjavik(Smoky Bay) Foss(Waterfall) Jokull(Glacier)Fjorthur(Fjord) and Myvatn(Midge Lake).I'd know more but I lost that language book

Here are some well known facts of Iceland: Bjork came from there,Extremely volcanic,Lotsa' geysers,only gets 4 hours of sun in the winter and only 4 hours of darkness in the summer,It's greener than Greenland, and no snakes,and Reykajavik is the most northernly national capital of the world.

Cross Country

Ok yesterday,........ uh nothing happenned except I got sick and couldn't do any homework

Onto this morning at 5:00 am,I got up recovering from the migrane and got a smidge of homework done

Seminary was great,I actually stayed awake the whole time and we read a little of 1&2 Timmy

I'm not looking forward to the book of The Rapture

After that I took my bike to school where I go chased by a bus.Then just finishing homework and classes

Cross Country was where it got interesting,first I ran all 5 laps instead of 4,of course I took forever and got onto stretches last.After that,the team went down to the bottom of Ohlone Park and we all stretched. My record went up by 20 seconds by the end

Finally I got home and now here I am typing this post,am I have almost reached the Golden Post

Also I am having fun exploiting McCain and Palin for there every little flaws,for example the only argument against Obama now is that he isn'tWASP.Where as against McCain is a whole lotta' junk

Labor Day

At last Labor Day is here, a break from school for a day.

This homework is getting on my nerves,I don't even remember how to do half of it,thank goodness the easy stiff is done.

I am currently reading Ender's Game,excellent book but I haven't even gotten half way through it.

All I know is I'm at odds with his History assignment. I'd work on it but I forgot how to do it,the Chemistry assignment not so much.

I need to take advantage of this easy week

Yesterday I got a phone here is what I was told "Your child Thomas May was absent for one or more periods". I just hung up and said to myself"screw that I was there". Then at sixth period right before the bell rings I get a schedule paper,it says my First period is Enviromental Science. For the past 2 dfays I have been going to Ceramics and enjoying it and had it on my paper. I talk to Trimlett.

She had the nerve to change my favorite class into a class I probably took at Scout Camp first year in favor of an internship.

So now the only enjoyable class has been axed,Math is getting worse,Cross Country is eating my time and seminary in the morning,not to mention every other person seems to starts school after Labor Day and I bet they end at the same time.

Go ahead call me a pessimist,I don't care I have every right. The teachers expect too much,my favorite class has been cut,and extracirricular stuff kills the rest

The death of Summer,.....til' the next one

It's official SUmmer as I know it is dead til' next year. My school day was half-baked, some of the classes were great,others seemed to hard and stressing and then Cross-Country eats away the rest of my day.

The Good Classes:

1.Ceramics(That's right a pottery class)
2.Spanish 3/4 (I think I'll do Swahili next year)
3.Chemistry

The Classes of Despair

1.Algebra 2(I feel like an idiot,I can't remember a thing in Algebra I shoulda' taken the first)
2.World History(Word on the street has it this teacher has only given 3 A's)

and I have no likes or dislikes to the final which is Literature

After the final class I headed off to the library right when I realized it was Cross Country.(2 hours of straight running) not to mention the backpack is a brick full,making biking from distances from the bus stop seem like Mt. Everest.

This year is gonna be either the greatest year or total hell.

Enough of Day 2,it's much too obvious and depressing.

Sadly enough school starts Wednesday. On the other hand I started this blog right after school,Graduation to be exact.

After attending the SSJE(School for Social Justice and Ecology)potluck after posting The Weekend Edition. I know who my teachers are and have explored the rooms so I figure,eh might as well get it over with. Plus as the Legendary Prosciutto Man, I can bug the deli by ordering you guessed it a prosciutto sandwich.

Also Cross Country run was great, I ran straight to the rock park which is about 2 miles one way.Lotsa' newbies this year

This school year will test my ceramics skills as well.Summer was extremely packed and the last weeks were boring.I guess this is a loose-loose situation

The Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue Seven

Well it's official,this is the last Summer weekend(technically speaking though Summer ends September 21st but it doesn'ty feel like Summer because it's blistering hot[that's right 'Indian Summer ' is hotter than Summer hee-uh in these parts')

Either way I'm both sides, I want to see what the classes are like,get out of boredom and feel like I have reason to actually be down and the track and I can go out more for luch(usually to the burger place across the street or the deli and every blue moon the Pizza place across from the deli)

On the other hand,I won't be able to sleep for 11 hours,I'll be out of the house longer than full time adults(12.5 hours precisely),not as much video game and computer time,and no long gourmet style lunches like Tomato Soup with Black Beans and Fried Salami

So like I said it's mixed.Seminary I don't look forward,too. Yes,yes Mr. Mike is a great teacher but still

It's also a week before the Scottish Games,where I can finally get some Irn Bru,meat pies,fish and chips, and all that other good stuff I haven't seen since I went to Scotland

Good news,Walker who left the yard for 2 days has returned(that's not his usual and I was getting worried)

I said I sorta had these not-so-black- and white feelings for someone right(Squirrelfights feelngs to Ashfur). Well unfortunatley there is this other girl(no I don't like this girl in that way) and she has my email and stuff,but Idk how to break it to her. Fun to listen to and hang out with,she seems to want more. I'll call her Skor Bar

I don't want to be offensive,everybody who knows the 2 of us think we'd be a great couple. I don't want to think that far. I want to be on the safe side until I'm not just 16 but until I feel ready which I am not currently

I'm bringing that up thanks to continous calls in the afternoon

On a better note another family came for dinner and the little guy(Eric) really likes video games and everything was delicious

These days are a guillotine.I don't want to get beheaded by it but I have to so I want it to come down quickly,which it's not.

At least when school starts I can feel justified in getting a pass. I can eat out for lunch,go to the library and of course my day is packed

Sadly that means fewer hours of video games,less siesta time and more rush and of courser seminary(that sucks if you don't know who the teacher is),.

And no do not recommend Twilight,that's just not my kind of book it's a sappy book of weak characters,sexual obsession gone to far,and not enough deaths(Why did Jimmy have to die,the villains were better characters)[It lacks the darkness of Lemony Snicket, the romance and death amount of Warriors,or the plot of Fablehaven]

Cross Country however has been useful. It makes me hungrier(good feeling),feel fresher, and of course I've done something that will affect my health.

My outlook on the Cola Wars

It seems every industry gains a rival.For cars, GM vs. Ford;for Shakespeare, Montagues vs Capulets;for Simpsons, Principal Skinner vs Bart Simpson; for video gamers SEGA(or Sony) vs Nintendo.

But one well known one that has actually led to deaths(other than Montagues vs Capulets) is Pepsi vs Coke.(People actually died in Thailand cuz' of such a rivalry)

Both are tooth-killers.If health is the concern Coke's the one becuase there seems to be more sugar in Pepsi.If monopolies are your concern try Pepsi because the company owns less.

Personally I like Coke.I quit Pepsi drinking in cold turkey(just that soda specifically)

But non-cola wise I'd opt out of Pepsi or Coke beverages in favor of Irn-Bru. Irn-Bru if you didn't read my June blogs is an orange soda with a slightly salty flavor but mostly like Cream-Soda and wax lips combined.

Cola is not my type of soda at all I rather have Cream Soda or the Beers that aren't beer(Root Beer and Ginger Beer)

Bringing this up because everybody who has had a cola drink has an unspoken outlook on it whether it's Coke, Pepsi,both or neither

Monkey World Weekend Edition: Issue Six

Well here it is Issue Six. I've just returned from camp and have finished off watching a utube video called

"Food Fight" which is basically food repesenting countries

Kebabs as the Middle east

4.Archery Range distance
5.Not as many Wild Turkeys

Oh yeah and I capsized meself in the middle of the lake on purpose[yes it was fun]. This year was the most dissappointing,but nevertheless I was never bored soI guess I won out

I've been so bored I've literally just insulted bad video games and read Eragon(that book is good,but it's a read once kind of book).On the bright side camps sttarting tomorrow thus I postpon the Monkey World Weekend Edition:Issue Six for next weekend.

and yeah that's about it.I've been doing lotsa' yard work but even that doesn't keep me busy.Maybe a review will do it

I haven't the exitcement of having a rival(at least rivals keep you on your toes)

What I look forward to:

What I'm not looking forward to

1.Yellow Jackets(the are flying insects that sting therefore,my worst,but most irrational fear)
2.Walking up a steep hill 10 times a day
3.The bathrooms(Except for the showerhouses they are disgusting outhouses)
4.Water(I only use bottled water because the faucets churn up orange,rusty water)

So the good outweighs the bad by a lot because I have solutions to the bad

Well I'm back and it feels good well now all I've got left is Scout Camp for a week(ironically the same week as Asm's Girls Camp) and now I can once again resume siestas, video games, and ......running. Well I went to the 4 corners and discoed straight over it.I've also decided to create a side blog specifically for review video games,books,movies,etc(even Cross Country tracks)[Asm suggested conforums but I like it a bit more personal,and I'm to ignorant to make a conforums].

Bookwise I can finally get on with Sisters Grimm, but lack the 4th Fablehaven(not released just yet) and need the 9 trillionth WARRRIORS(best series ever)

And no you'll never see a Twilight review becuase I have no intentions of reading it.

I'll be sad to be leaving Peanut and Hershey(the Utah cousins rabbits)

Yesterday after dinner and an exhausting Cross-Country run,BF(for the last time Best Friend not Boy Friend I's not gay) asked me to play ball,I had nothin else to do why decline,so I headed out and played alittle.Lou(across-the-street neighbor) brought hice neice Fallon(very cute girl,but I already got someone[sorta]) and we hung out for a little while playing basketball with the dogs and then Asm came up and we hung out til' 11.Now it's off to Granny's House(driving us to Oakland at 5 am so it' makes sense to stay beforehand) and yeah not much else

Day 2 Before AZ

Day 2 before AZ is right.I've mentioned idk how many times that I'm off to Arizona for a family reunion.Me,Ma, and Asm leave at 4 am to AZ,hope I can wake up

I mentioned my 10 Poisonous Video Games that make better Toilet Paper(-1/20-0/20) and I also have 2 other video games that make my tops.

I'll start with the good

1.Super Mario Kart[SNES,1992](My second favorite Mario Kart,and with the whole concept rested on this game plus a Challenging Rainbow Road this game gets 20/20 yeah my comparison says different but that'x cuz' 2 things suck,and yeah)

2.Vectorman[Genesis,1995](I love the whole plot it's sorta like WaLL-e where humans leave Earth,and it's got might graphics,excellent gameplay,real challenge{I can't get past first level} it's only fair this gets 20/20)

Now for the 10 stinkers

10.Sonic Shuffle[Dreamcast,2000](This game alone could ruin Dreamcast's reputation as the white box with 200 hard-core games,it's not a party game your stuck with cards and annoying minigames ech!)

9.Bubsy 3D[PlayStation,1997](The cat has a smile of molester,you can only walk straight,the world's look like milk cartons made by infants)

8.The Smurfs[NES,1992](Horrible controls,I already hate the characters,and lotsa' lag)

7.Superman 64[Nintendo 64,1999](A shame this ended up on my favorite system,SUperman looks like a log,no buildings,everythings the same color and all you do is fly through rings)

6.Altered Beast[PlayStation 2,2005](The first was ok,but when it went 3D it lost ;plot and everything went monotonous andt he graphics are sloppy)

5.Fight for Life[Atari Jaguar,1996](It's not fighting,it a game that melted it's graphics to soup where you can't do a thing)

4.Captain Novolin[SNES,1992](A retarded character who fights evil pastries and makes fun of diabetes,I love pastries go away)

3.Kabuki Warriors[Xbox,2001](No,plot,bad fighting,and you could KO with with your buttox,a video game that does that isn't just crappy it's despicable)

2.Custer's Revenge[Atari 2600,1983](What a kind of video game makes you be a naked general doging arrows and rape an Indian girl,answer a really bad one that's sexist should be banned from your house)

1The others got 0/20 and Shuffle got .5/20but this is so bad it's got dumped in a landfill,I call it......

E.T.[Atari 2600,1982](What you should do is collect tools to call your aliens home and get off Earth,what you actually di is fall into pits and get bandages for you ears before they bleed from terrible sounds,-1/20)

And like I said they make better Toilet Paper and what's this The Jaguar looks like a Toilet seat and le gasp the PSX looks like a port-potty toilet.If you need to use the bathroom but are too busy playing good games,clean up the mess with these

They're are thousands of others that are bad only 10 make 1 and lower. Like only 12 make 20/20.Those 10 aren't just crappy they don't just have bad characters or graphics or even a stupid plot.Oh no they look really retarded and aren't playable or are too playble(Kabuki Warriors)

I was going to review Matilda bu I thought since I just reviewed Mario 3D games and Mario Kart it would be most appropriate to compare them tooooooo......... SONIC's counterparts.Mario is often praised while Sonic ehm! not so much

Actually I like R better despite the medium score,but somethings in Riders were outstanding,while R was all the same.See the lowest score for Mario Kart was 16/20(80/100) while the lowest score for the Sonic Racers was 5/20(abt.30/100) and yes I've decided for the score mesdium tyo be 20 instead of Famitsu's 40,casual reviewers 5,or standards of 100/10

A whole lotta Nuttin'

Lke the title says who whole lotta nuttin' is going on.I've beaten my video games,walked a lot,posted too much,and have seen all the movies I intend to see(Ok,ok I still wanna see The Forbidden Kingdom and The Dark Knight) the site is dead,I lost pen pal contact,and Arizona isn't for 3 days agh!.

There are days I wish I was Seth and in such a situation as he in Fablehaven.Then I could see fairies and pixies and brownies,ya' know and life wouldn't be so boring.Spot the fawn is out except he has little horn bumps on the head.I've read Fablehaven and Fablehaven:Rise of the Evening Star and am trying to read Fablehaven:The Great Shadow Plague(or so I think it's called),I can't seem to get into it.

I'll try again,but I wish I had some Sour Patch Kids,Fresca, ahmmock and it was sunny.

Welcome to the Monkey World Weekend Edition. For this issue I think I'll discuss my day

Ok so far I've walked up the hill after a cup of quality hot chocolate(becuase Music camp had Nestle packets,eck! but hazelnut cream helped).Got a haircut,dropped Dad off at BART for airport,donated to Goodwill, went to Office Depot where I found the laptop of my dreams(Acer Extensa,too bad it has Windows Vista though because ugh! Microsoft really needs to fix Vista,but it's cheap and has everything else).Got 3 movies at movie store(Who needs Comcast,I don't wanna end up like the humans in WALL-E) and watched on utube "WBNA Live '08",hilarious I tell you(No offense butWNBA is really not that good,I don't even like NBA or even Basketball itself).Helped Genun with his Eagle Scout Project and went to a BBQ.

Me and Zary got in a fight when he stole something of mine.I asked nicely,then I demanded then I resorted to more sadistic,gross tactics.Finally he ripped it up,I wasn't going to just start a brawl so I let it go.Then all I did was eat,eat,eat,and eat with some guzzling of water.

Then I took another walk home and now I'm here typing this blog

If I wasn't a Mormon I probably would've killed someone sghamelessly and brutally,thanks to that though I now just sadistically beat those who get in my way. Enough of his foxdung onto WALL-E

So anyway WALL-E ok heres the synopsis:

Humans have abandoned the dirty landfilled Earth and left WALL-E units to clean the mess,most of them die.And the 5 year cruise becomes 700 years.By then the humans have become lazy blobs who are inanimate objects to robots.Meanwhile on Earth a white robot named EVE and WALL-E meet up.WALL-E is smitten but when she has an odd reaction to a plant,WALL-E must get her back to Axiom,where the humans are.

I'd say this is one of Pixar's best(Like Toy Story 2 and The Incredibles),anyway it looks like a quiet,boring movie but it's really exciting plus they sound so cute. Even if it is boring,cut it slack man,I mean c'mon the main characters din't say much other then "WALL-E,or EVE, or Mo",only the few lazy bolbs talked and they came in at the end.

The Packed Summer Resumes

Yup,that's right I said for posts and posts since the blog's begginning my summer is packed.

Well So far I've gone through the following

1.A 2 week Tour in Scotland and England(mmm' Irn Bru)
2.An overnigth at Granny's(not that that's really an ordeal or problem)
3.A day in the Santa Cruz Mountains(Boring Dance,Crappy Food,Slanted position for bag but the activities make up for it[ex:walking on a tightrope bridge])

and I still have.....

4.Music Camp in Nevada
5.A Family Reunion in Arizona
6. A few days in Utah(Being a Mormon that's not too bad)
7 Scout Camp for a week

Oy yoy yoy! If only they axed out music camp for France(I'm a listener of music not a peformer,at least at heart)

Sometimes I wish I had one simple 2 months,and 2 weeks of just Eat,Sleep,Read,Drink,Crap,Electronics,and Cycling.

Oh well this is gonna be an adventure.

Copying Beethoven

I watched a movie called "Copying Beethoven".It was about Beethoven's every triumph and failure around the time of the 9th Symphony(1824)

The main character is a woman of 23 named Anna Holtz(potrayed by Diane Kruger[Ben's girlfriend in National Treasure]) who is sent out by theschool she came from to Vienna to work at Beethoven's(Ed Harris) copier(copies and sends out Beethoven's work basically).In the movie Beethoven is a madman,insane despises everyone just about.Ed Harris plays out Beethoven well as does Diane Kruger with her part but the set seemed a little off and it's too loosely based(like 2003 Cheaper by the Dozen or 2005's Pride and Predjudice[the only movie more annoying than this one is Time Bandits w/Lauren Holly as the actress those 2 combo's would be hell].I could certainly get used to Beethoven's suggested (behavior the only part I don't doubt is the drinking).Down to the scores

It certainly doesn't make my top,Rotten Tomatoes gave it 22%(which is equilavent to my 4/20 since I round instead of resorting to decimals) which is extremely underating it but it's not that great either but it's certainly watchable

The Video to Overnight

For once something I actually planned for Summer came an Overnight at Granny's,You'd think it would be boring, and unexciting and lots'back in my day' stories, but it's not.Lotsa cookies here and movies there.But I'll get to that later I'll start off with Tuesday after the Mario Kart comparison.

Ok so after the Mario Kart comparison I read the newspaper when,BF(once again Best Friend not Boyfriend I'm not gay,and no this is not reverse cycology) came up to my house and both of us went up to the remains of"The Swing".The Swing used to be a fun,long,blue rope swing that went30 feet of the ground at highest but one day,it fell off and a replacement was put.Oh joy! Back to the fun right???? WRONG it goes a yard off the ground, it's on the lowest branch, and leg holes are now hand holes.

So after that we both headed to the Dixon's house.Those little girls are evil.... they tried to kill me.Since they were leaving we left and watched "The Pacifier",I'll review on a school day when I'm actually around more.Anyway then Leffler(forget Mac Nerd that doesn't stick) came over and we started cane stick fencing(it was fun until it wasn't).A little later Asm,BF,and Leffler came up with an idea to make a utube video.After that I got into all sorts of mayhem.I got all this"don't touch that or I'll shoot my LEGO bazooka at you(I saw it tested it dents aluminum,it hurts) and your "N64 privileges don't the drain".I'm like What a control freak eventually I get sick of his antics and shoot a nerf bullet at the mac and soon leave.After that it's Cross Country practice and then nothing worth potsing except.......... a call from Granny.The call is an invitation for a stay at her place which is cool.

So the next day I get ready to go and we head off to Subway for luch w/ Aunt Jan. After that a good game of cards(Skip-Bo to be precise,and it's not as gay[no offense to gays out there] as it sounds) and then a boring hour of violin practice(sheer torture I play against my will because Ma won't leave me alone about it).Later we haed off to see WALL-E"I'll review that next post,unless I come across a better video game".The only I'll tell you is it's about 2 robots that fall in love 800 years after humans have abandoned Earth and become lazy blobs.Then I jus hang around till dinner.We had a delicious tomato soup with corn in it.After that we watched a movie"Matilda"(which of course is based off of Roald Dahl's book) I'll review that sometime as well.

So then we had breakfast(Hot Chocolate and waffles) and watched"Copying Beethoven" and then another boring practice session and then headed off and here I am now.

Yea 2 posts one day,I'm really going for it I don't intend to post tomorrow and my sister Asm has gone so crazy with her novel "The Stones of Destiny" she must have the computer more so yeah.The novel isn't that bad,but I'm once again posing about a video game comparison(once again non-video gamers don't read on)

Yesterday it was 3D Mario's now it's the best racing franchise(except maybe for Out Run or Crusin') ever it is famous for having the same concept but different niches per game since is debut in 1992.Still don't know? Turtle Shells,Bananas,Items Boxes,Mario? Give up it's (drumroll)........MARIO KART!!!!!

Lets start with the original and most challenging Super Mario Kart

Battle:17/20(Not as addicting as it's 3D console buddies 64 ,DD or Wii)
Average Track Score: 20/20(I like the tracks alot 64 still has the edge though)
Music:13/20(The tracks and music aren't compatible)

Final:17/20(it acually fares worse than DD and Super fares better but by fairness they tie)

Now for the 6 of 6 the online and motorcycles wii have Mario Kart Wii

Final:16/20(I left out challenge because personalluy haven't played it but I've seen other reviews and seen videos on utube,otherwise it'd be like the others)

Mario Kart 64 wins and Wii is in dead last but I haven't really expierienced it,of the 5 I've played DS appears last

For those who hate video games don't bother reding this post,this one is dedicated to the 3d Mario games

These games are worthy unlike it's clones(playing 3D Sonic is like putting pepperoni in a friut cocktail it can't be done)

Anyway lets start with controls

Winner:Suer Mario 64(everything is manuvered perfectly and that analog stick is awesome)
Runner-Up: New Super Mario Bros.(Pretty much a 2 button game,sadly not a huge moveset but,it's not horrible)
Ultimate Loser:Super Mario Galaxy(Too much shaking,plus it just doesn't feel as smooth)

Graphics(for time)

Winner:Super Mario Sunshine(Dreamy graphics,brightly colored Mario looks great
Runner-Up:Super Mario Galaxy(They are advanced for Wii and good but Ian't help but feel it's Sunshine with better lighting)
Ultimate Loser:New Super Mario Bros.(64 was praised highly because it was first 3d,this is just mediocre,average DS graphics)

Power-Ups

Winner:Super Mario Galaxy(What are there 9 amazing power-ups[Bee Mario's my favorite] some are old ones from NES era like Fire Flower)
Runner-Up:Super Mario 64(I didn't like New Super Mario Brios. power-ups,the only real good ones were Shell Mario and MEga Mario but 64's were innovative and outstading plus you could be all of them at once sometimes)
Ultimate Loser:Super Mario SUnshine(What power-ups all I see are 2 extra FLUDD nozzles,at least NEw Super Mario Bros had power ups)

Levels

Winner:Super Mario 64(15 levels and secret stars and they're all open with variety)
Runner-Up: Super Mario Sunshine(8 levels that seem to be the same, but the secrets are nice)
Ultimate Loser:New Super Mario Bros.(Linear,3D do they mix????)

Boss Battles

Winner:Super Mario Galaxy(It's awesome they're alot of them and the final is killer)
Runner-Up:Super Mario 64(New Super Mario Bros. were too easy and then I couldn't reach em',but in this one 3 Boss levels each the same but hard)
Ultimate Loser:Super Mario Sunshine(One Boss Battle easy to access and I beat it on first try)

Hub

Winner:Super Maio Sunsine(Delffino Plaza was groundbreaking and it felt like a level,not just a hub I wished it was real once)
Runner Up:Super Mario Galaxy(Comet Observatory has more to it that meets the eye plus all these areas ooooh I'm shivering)
Ultimate Loser:NEw Super Mario Bros.(Super Mario 64's was excellent but it wasn't as remarkable as the others,but it had a hub New Super Mario Bros. is linewr and it has 8 worlds sorta like hubs but they lack somethings so it's out)

Audio

Winner:Super Mario 64(Who hasn't felt like they were gonna cringe once at Bowser Battles or felt like they went through a winter wonderland at Snowman's Land,it has all the nostalgia I need)
Runner Up:Super Mario Sunshine(This was close but not even Beach Bowl,Gusty Garden or Good Egg could match the musical might of....Delfino Plaza,Noki Bay,Bianco Hills,Sand Bird Theme,Pinna Park,or the Underwater theme)
Ultimate Loser:New Super Mario Bros. (Completley bland except World 1 and 8,it left much to be desired)

Sunshine and Galaxy have won twice,Mario 64 is the ultimate winner of 3 times and New Mario Bros. once, so I guess it lost,but then again it's kinda 2.5D so it has gameplay sorta inbetween so it's not completely fair

The Monkey World Weekend Edition:Issue Two

Welcome back to the Monkey World Weekend Edition

Instead of a tour reminisence I thought I'd just write about yesterday and the day before,I'll start with after Cross Country

Anyway I took my bike to the regional park, where I met up with the team and we ran ran up a bumpy trail and then around an insect nfested resvervoir it was beautiful but the bugs where up in my face ugh!I was really tired at the end and had to stay an hour before I had enough energy to take the bike home. Eventually I got my bike but I reached a somewhat steep hill and right in the middle........SPIIING!!!! the chain comes entirely off and coiled u ,I try to fix it but to no avail, so I walk to the bus stop I try to call(cell phone of course) but ummm lets see lots of trees, not may wires that's right NO SIGNAL.So I walk on up the road but then I see atrail that'll keep me safe from cars....oh joy a thin bumpy trail.An hour later I'm back on the road I don't want to take to long so I coast down the road and find a cyclist who attempts to fix it.It turns out a link has split entirely. So I take it home and that's it ca't use it for a while till it's fixed or I get a new chain.Until 4;00 pm the next day it's eat,sleep,computer,and video games.At 4 pm I headed off to a 4th of July party since I.There seemed to only be one thing to do.........EAT which I did kept that up for a few hours with a few trampoline breaks.And I got back at 5 hours later out of sheer boredom and got 12 hours of sleep and here I am posting it

Well I've just realized this is my tenth post since I started this blog.

And since you saw a post yesterday,I srvived cross-country practice,now this is the 2nd day and this time in the hills

Luckily I have running shoes to compliment the bumpy,dirt course of Wildcat Gorge Trail

Oh Bluestar I'm hungry,but I have a freakin' cold. Atchoo! yup it's back.And my stomach's woozy(I took a dare to drink a few shots of straight Cherry syrup,that stuffs nasty)

Yo Estoy Mucho Aburrido!

For those who don't speak Spanish, Yo Estoy Mucho Aburrido means I am very bored.

And I am,so far today all I've done is chores and computer.I've finished the Sisters Grimm books I have,I've beaten most of my video games(except Sonic Adventure 2 but I can't get past the first boss).I've been on the computer too much.And I don't feel like walking, I guess the only to do is snack but that leaves frothing.

It doesn't help that my sister Asm brought over her real annoying 'pen pal' Natahsha.A long time ago maybe hings would've been ok but well they've shown themselves so yeah. I wish Jesse(known as BF for now) and BF is for Best Friend not Boyfriend becuase I'm not Gay.Either way I wish he was still here.

At least tomorrow I got Cross-Country but for now I'm a bored-ass(mind my tongue)

Also I'm now hooked on a series called "The Sisters Grimm" so far it's more exciting than"Grimm's Fairy Tales" but that could change let's just see

I apologize for no Sunday blog,but as a Mormon I'm supposed to obey the Sabbath som how(ususally I later computer time)

Anyway I'm also a gamer. My video game knowledge far extends past what I own

I have 2 systems and 26 games.My favorite of the 2 is the Gamecube. My favorite game is Super Mario 64 DS of the games I own(but Banjo-Kazooie for Nintendo 64 is my favoroite game and Nintendo 64 is my favorite system)

My current goal is to own a SEGA system and become a system collector.

I'm currently re-beating Super Mario 64 DS,if their ever was a game that you couldn't get bored of this is it.

Who needs Grand Theft Auto,it's an abuse of free speech and delivers the wrong message,who needs WoW I want to live,who needs Mature games they're overrated and I'm not a sex mogul.

My neighbor The Mac Nerd(MN for short)(he's 10 and he can basically program a computer) has a 64 and Genun and Zary have a 360

Gotta go Asm's giving me the look,off to the library(we had a bet,she won)

The Monkey World Weekend Edition:Issue One

Welcome to The Monkey World's First Weekend Edition,Issue 1

So far nothing has happenned except a power outage,sour milk, and chores.Oh yes and my Irn-Bru has run out.For those wondering Irn-Bru is this very fizzy orange soda.It's takes like the baby of Wax lips and cream soda.

I've just gotten into this series of book by believe it or not The Sprouse Brothers(they play Zack and Cody in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody) and anyway it's about 2 twins that are attacked by ninjas.Why? the answer their father is a boss of a rogue organization R.O.N.I.N, and yeah that's all I'm gonna explain,read it if you want more 411.

I've gotten back into this Super Mario Sunshine craze and have a Digimon addiction.I keep telling myself o quit Digimon in cold turkey but no, I can't keep myself from not watching Digimon with all of Myotismon's and the Dark Master's antics.

Ok I'm posting this because I'm having a hard time with a challenge in Mario Sunshine so I'm taking a break.

Now if you'll excuse me,I'm gonna take an electronic break and get those disyhes overwith and take a nice walk to the park

Post Jet-Lag Day:The X-treme Mediocrity

As you can guess by the title the day has been pretty boring and mediocre. The good news I have gotten over my jet-lag.Only I dunno what to do

Maybe some Mario Sunshine but then I've played 10,000 times over as goes for most of my video games

What I wouldn't do for a new thing(book,video game,idea,routine,Irn Bru, etc.)

So far all I've done is been a lazy couch potato writing down this blog and therefore wasting your time

That does it,I'm gonna finish up this tasty almond-tofee chocolat,the Irn-Bru and take a nice refeshing walk

Hopefully my sister Asm will be in a better,more senseful mood

Well,where should I start

I got back yesterday and intended to end the 2 week hiatus,but after sleeping all day and catching up with emails,I thought maybe 2 in one 24 hour day would be better.

I'm am typing this at 2 in the morning because of........THE SAVAGE JET-LAG of CONFUSION

See I am still adjusting back to Pacific Time from Greenwich-Mean Time which is 8 hours ahead so it's though 2 when I type,my conscience tells me it's 10.

Oh well Scotland was worth it

Maybe some Irn-Bru(Scotland's soda) or Chocolate will do it
